Economic Capacity

Although 75% of the world’s hungry live in areas where they could grow enough for a healthy diet and have income to cover basic needs. In Haiti, 30% of the population is considered food insecure (World Food Programme 2015). CEI works with smallholder Haitian farmers to bring food security, economic viability, and restore depleted land. Current Programs include Goat, Agriculture, Water Initiative, and Women’s Business.
