Margaret Pittenger graduated from Physical Therapy school in 1970 from Wayne State University with a B.S. degree in Physical Therapy. She then attended Indiana University, earning a Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy Education in 1976. Opening her first clinic in 1984, Ms. Pittenger is now celebrating over 40 years in Physical Therapy and hands-on practice.
Ms. Pittenger has also applied her skills in educating practitioners, caregivers and the community-at-large through university, clinic, client and community education programs.​ She has taught at various universities, including the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) and Wayne State University in Detroit. She has presented seminars to professionals for many years. She was voted best clinician by her colleagues in NOVA CARE and best teacher of the year by the students at Virginia College.
